AND THEY TIED A ‘POLICE VAN’ TO A TREE! A RARE SIGHT OF A POLICE VAN TIED TO A TREE IS THE TALK OF THE TOWN IN PALUR VILLAGE!

The incident occurred the day before night. A police force was posted permanently to guard the Palur Sree Harischandra temple which had created communal violence as miscreants damaged it a year ago.

The police personnel went out leaving the van on a high place. By the time they returned, it was raining cats and dogs. They stumbled at the unexpected sight that their van was flooded from all corners. They could only see the van parked under a tree surrounded by water. It could vanish any moment in river Cauvery! Then came the villagers. Few brave youngsters swam across with ropes. They tied the Van to the tree !

And the van is now waiting for the water to come down to find freedom!
