MADIKERI - BOMBAY BUS COMMISSIONED

MLA Mr.K.G.Bopaiah yesterday flagged off the Madikeri - Bombay bus yesterday. The luxury bus replaced in the place of ordinary one will start from Madikeri at 9.30 a.m and reach Bombay via Poona. Deputy Commissioner Mr.Srikanth Valgadh, SP Mr.Devjyothi Ray, KSRTC director Mr.Abdul Majidh and others were present. Mr.Abdul Majidh disclosed that four special busses are allotted to Bombay route.

SOLDIERS BODY LIED TO REST

A soldier who died due to heart attack on his way to Kodagu at Chennai was laid to rest with police respects.

Kashi, serving at Shillong in BSF was returning home on a month’s holiday. He developed chest pain at Chennai and died on the streets. He leaves wife and children. DYSP Anvekar, MLA Basavaraju and others placed wreaths on the remains of Kashi.
