A PROTEST AGAINST NATURE!
While protesting against apathy, government officials and
elected representatives is common, here is a farmer who protested against the
rainfall which has destryed his paddy field. A farmer at Badagarakeri in South Kodagu yesterday planted
his plough upside down in the field and sat before it, a protest to insult the
nature! It’s a belief that the rains will come down, if you fix the
plough upside down in the field. As a co incidence people of Kodagu sigh a breath of relief
as they noticed Sun playing hide and seek in the sky, between the clouds. Tell
us, who can stop this farmers claim that he changed the weather! SMUGGLER SHOT AT
Sleuths of forest today opened fire at a smuggler who was in
the act of stealing sandal wood at Jenukallu Betta in Hebbale forest range
today. According to police, the forest guards noticed smuggling
activity by a group which was cutting sandal wood tree at 6 a.m. The group attacked the guards who opened fire in the air to
