YUVA MORCHALAMBASTS GOVERNMENT

The state yuva morcha has bombarded the Congress – JDs led government in the state and said that it is interested only in raising funds for the next elections.

Addressing scribes here yesterday, the state BJP Yuva Morcha president Mr.C.T.Ravi said that they are creating awareness against the state government all over the state. He quipped stating that the JDs which joins hands with the Congress in the sessions about CET raises voice against it, outside. Mr.Ravi sought apology from congress to have brought Sonia Gandhis name along with Mahatma Gandhi. He said that the Congress is trying to mislead people and replace Mahatmas name with hers.

He also alleged that ISI is active in the state and alerted the state and central governments to investigate the issue and punish the guilty.

The dismissed sub inspector Mr.Mattannavar who was also present questioned the so called Thinkers who speak about every other issue as to why they are silent over CET.

MLA Renukacharya from Honnali, Mr.K.G.Bopaiah, district BJP president Mr.S.G.Medappa and others were present in the press conference.

KUVEMPU REMEMBERED

The works and contributions of the great poet Kuvempu was remembered at a function organised at Virajpet under the auspices of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Virajpet, Kannada and Culture department and education department.

Addressing the function Shanta Mallikarjuna Swamy lauded the poet as a visionary. The district and Sessions judge of Tumkur, Mr.T.Nagappa stated that Kuvempu had contributed much to the Spiritual field also.

The Zilla Panchayath president Mrs.Chitra Ramesh, president of taluk Parishat, Mr.Rajshekar and others spoke on the occasion.
