TEMPLE BURGLED

Miscreants have broke into a historical temple, Irpu Rameshwara in South Kodagu and made away with a three hundred year old Idol of Kodanda Rama, a silver Prabhavali and other valuables.

The temple authorities said that the thieves broke into the temple at night on 26th and committed the crime as the whole night it was raining heavily. The dog squad pressed to service could not trace anything as the trace of smell had vanished due to rains. The finger print experts were pressed to service. Tahasildar and other officials were present.
