THIS LADY BEARS CHILD AFTER TUBECTOMY The couple, Nagesh and Janaki
were all anxious to undergo tubectomy operation after the second child was
born. Inspite of the operation, Janaki
is now a pregnant. While qustioned, the doctors who conducted the operation
lambaste the couple the couple and try to transfer the blame on them! ‘ May be
you were a pregnant at the time of the operation’ the doctors shouted at them.
But, whose duty is it to confirm whether the patient who was undergoing
operation is a pregnant or not? Till six months, after the operation, the lady
was treated for stomach ache and little did the doctors try to cross check the
cause of this stomach ache! This incident took place at
Siddapur, 30 Kms from here. Janaki was operated on January 21st at Siddapur community health centre By Dr.Umadevi
and Dr.Pratibha. The district surgeon
Dr.Rangaswamy told this correspondent that the hospital does not have a
pregnancy kit to test! While the government boasts of spending crores of rupees to turn hospitals in the district into Hi Tech, its a great shame that a pregnancy kit is not available in the district and poor families like that of Nagesh and Janaki have to suffer due to the lathery and negligence by the doctors. SON IN-LAW TURNED THIEF! This son in-law broke the jewel
box of his in-laws and stole a gold ring. As the in-laws discovered his
misadventure, he tried to commit suicide by hanging! The incident was reported from
Nellihudikeri. Armugam, 28 lifted a ring from his in-laws house recently and
sold it for rupees one thousand. Thinking that he did it unnoticed, he returned
to the house day before yesterday only to findout that his misdeed had come to
light. His father- in law lodged a complaint at Siddapur police station. Unable
to face the shame Armugam hung himself using his wife’s sari. To his bad luck,
again, he was saved by his brother in-law. Now he is spending time in the prison. |
