PLANTER ENDS LIFE

 

Shanmukaiah, 53, a coffee planter at Shanivarsanthe killed himself yesterday unable to bear the burden of debt.

The deceased who owes more than three lakhs shot himself to death with his gun, inside his estate.

NANAIAH REBUKES KRISHNA

 

Former MLC Mr.M.C.Nanaiah lambasted the double standard of congress party which has joined JDs to form govt in the state, ignoring ideologies and differences.

In an informal talk with this correspondent, Mr.Nanaiah told the largest party BJP should have been invited to form the govt and Mr.S.M.Krishna should have chosen opposition.

 

N.K.JAIN VISITS KODAGU

 

Chief justice Mr.N.K.Jain yesterday arrived in Kodagu  on a private visit.

Sessions judge Mr.Lenkannavar, Deputy commissioner Mr.Srikanth Valgadh, Superintendent of Police Mr.Devjyothi Ray received Mr.Jain in Sudarshan guest house.
