PARLAKOTI FAMILY WINS THE FAMOUS PERIAN CUP

Kodagu Gowda Samskritika Academy and Perian family jointly held Kodagu Gowda inter family Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament. In the Final Match against powerful Kedambadi family the Parlakoti family scored a three wicket victory and lifted the Perian Cup for the year 2004.

In south Coorg’s Shrimangala the Kodava Desha Sabhe is slated for today the 17th May, 2004, Monday. T Shettigeri, Marenadu, Kutta, Kumatur Kodavasamjas under Shrimangala Nadu and villagers of Nemmale, Kurchi,and Beeruga were busy giving the finishing touches for the meeting slated for today. SERPENT FOUND

Serpent called 'Kalinga Sarpa' found in the coffee estate of K.S.Mogappa at Gundi Bachalli Village near Somwarpet. The thirteen feet big serpent has delivered eggs and is protecting them in a place. The villagers have provided the food for the serpent. But it hesitate to eat them. It is becoming weak without intake of food. Snake Sham , a snake expert from Mysore arriving is today to watch the movements of the snake. He will even try to capture the snake which is too poisonous.
