ELECTROCUTED Muthumpadi, a seventeen year old boy was electrocuted yesterday, at Guhya near Siddapur. The deceased was repairing cable and electricity passed through accidentally. He had bought a single number lottery in the evening, and rushed home to watch the result in the TV. He climbed the roof to repair the cable as the TV was not working properly. However fate claimed his life before he looked at the lottery result. CHAIN THEFTS In a chain of thefts reported from Sunticoppa, thieves have made away with lakhs worth cash and other items, yesterday night. Police reported that thieves broke into a jewellery shop and took gold and silver items and coins valued more than a lakh. Later they broke into a Sree Ram temple and lifted a Hundi. From there they broke into a manure shop and left empty handed as there was no cash kept. Police conducted Mahzar and are looking for culprits. |
