URGE TO CONVERT F I MARSHALLS HOUSE INTO MONUMENT

Mlc Mr.Arun Machaiah has urged the government to convert the house of Field Marshal Cariappa at Shanivarsanthe  into a monument.

Addressing a festival meet of Kodavas at Mysore, Mr.Arun Machaiah said that the house where Mr.Cariappa took birth should be preserved. He regretted that the house is in a neglected state and it’s a great shame .

Though Mr.Cariappa took birth at the above house, he spent his days in his house at Madikeri. His son, Air Marshal ( Retd.) K.C.Cariappa lives in this house now. The Shanivarsanthe house , earlier housed a government office.

Mr.Machaiah also urged the need to fix financial year ending to June end as a special case to Kodagu, instead of March end as works can not be taken up here due to incessant rainfall. As a result amounts sanctioned are regularly returned as it lapse.

LOVE  LETTER  CLAIMS LIFE

Here is a lesson for those who behave irresponsibly in schools.

A tenth standard student, Suresh’s body was found floating in river Cauvery, recently.

On inquiry, police found out that the young boy committed suicide after his parents, laborers, scolded him.

The reason?

Suresh was studying in a Junior college at Siddapur. A girl of class nine received a love letter in his name. The letter some how landed in the hands of her father. He called Suresh’s father and blasted him. In turn, Suresh was scolded by his father, who did not listen even when he tried to plead not guilty. The boy did not return from the school next day. A complaint was lodged before the body was traced in the river.

It is now revealed that some other mischief mongers had written the letter in the name of Suresh. Though the truth is revealed, the bygone life can not be retrieved? Can it be?
