CMC RECEIVES STAY FOR ELECTION

High Court has stayed the election of President and Vice presidents of the City Municipal Council here.

Ramamani, a Sc member has questioned on what basis the government has decided to elect General and woman from Backward class to the posts of President and vice president.

This development has hampered the election scheduled to be held early.

Mrs. Ramamani has argued that a Sc candidate was never chosen for the prime post in CMC.

Election to about five Panchayaths and councils in the state are stayed on the similar ground.

THIS COW CARRIED 25 KILO PLASTIC INSIDE!

A cow owned by an agriculturist died at Arji village near Virajpet, recently.

The owner on suspicion called for Veterinary doctors for autopsy .

The Vet was in for a shock! For a moment he was confused, whether he was cutting the flesh or cleaning garbage. The stomach was stuffed with plastic, plastic and plastic! That too, 25 Kilograms of Plastic!

Arji village is a place where the Town Panchayath Virajpet throws garbage. And the cows around, feast over it. The villagers have complained that the Panchayath has to immediately organize recycling to save their live stock which are meeting with untimesly death.

INFANT MOLESTED

A three year old baby girl was inhumanly molested by a minor in Kodagu yesterday.

A class nine student, Rafiq aged 14 allegedly molested a three year old baby at Chandanamakki village, near Somwarpet yesterday. He carried the baby into an estate under the pretext of plucking oranges and resorted to this heinous crime. A bleeding baby was hospitalized and Rafiq got arrested. He is sent to observation house at Mysore.
