VOW MAKES HER BOW;
An elected member bribed a lady member to vote him for
presidency. Accepting rupees fifteen thousand, the lady did not vote. The
contestant lost election with one vote less! He forced her to return the money. She refused. The victim
approached a temple committee. The committee called her and adviced to return
money in instalment. Though agreed, she broke the promise. The victim took a
vow and spread the news. As a co incidence the family of the member who cheated
the person started facing hurdles. It’s the vow, it’s the vow, everyone
shouted. Unable to face the mockery and fear of God, the lady returned the whole amount. The incident occurred at Shanivarsanthe. The member
mr.Bojappa who lost the election is a happy man as he received his money back! 7.79 LAKH FOR DRINKING WATER;
The Zilla Panchayath has sanctioned rs.7.79 lakhs for
drinking water to villages covered by
Dundalli gram panchayath. The ZP member Mr.Sheshadri, performing Bhoomi pooja for the
erection of a fifty thousand liter
water tank stated that the dream of
villagers to get drinking water is
being fulfilled. GROUP CLASH AT SUNTICOPPA;
Sunticoppa police took to custody nine members in connection
with a group clash with stones and clubs. Two groups of a Mosque resorted to fighting over a land and financial matter at Kodagarahalli near here. Receiving complaints from both the parties, arrests were made including few women. |
