BJP CAPTURES TOWN BANK ADMINISTRATION

The BJP captured Madikeri Town Cooperative Bank administration in the elections. BJP gained 5 seats while Congress alliance satisfied with 4 seats.

M.P.Krishnaraju,B.D.Manjunath,B.P.Subramani, H.G.Govindaraju and Smt. Baby Poovaiah won from BJP. Smt. Kaveramma Somanna,Kodi Chandrashekhar,B.A.Ramaiah and M.P.Muthappa won from the congress alliance group. S.C.Subramani of BJP was just defeated by one vote to Kaveramma Somanna of Congress.

CHEATED THE WIFE :SECOND MARRIAGE STOPPED

A person after cheating his wife by forcibly taking her jewels and also getting the dowry tried to marry another girl .However, on the basis of the wife’s complaint the Madikeri Town police are managed to nab the cheat and 7 of his supporters. Sydu Alavi is a native of Mallapuram, Kerala State. He married the daugter of Ummer, the resident of the thyagaraja clony , Madikeri during last january.He had taken jewels and dowry from the wife and again he rushed to Madikeri from kerala along with 7 of his friends. They were moving for another marriage.On the strong clue the wife compalined to Madikeri police station.The Police have arrested Husain,Abdul Kdadar,Kunji Moidu, Azeez,K.Ahmad, Moose and Alikutti.The husband is absconding.

JUDICIAL CUSTODY FOR POLICE JEEP DRIVER

The District Judge has ordered Judicial custody for the driver who is facing the charges of cheating a college going girl at Virajpet.
