SHIVSENA THREATENS BENY HINN;

The shivsena unit of Kodagu has threatened the Benny Hinn show to be held between 21st and 23 at Bangalore.

Addressing a press conference, convenor of the local unit of Shivsena, Mr.Harish G.Acharya said that suicide squads of Shivsena are formed all over the state, including Kodagu and they will not hesitate to attack the show, if Government fails to block it.

Stating that the government was not allowing any other gatherings around Jakkur Aerodrome due to security risk, Acharya said that it is ridiculous that the government is allowing the show, ignoring National and cultural safety.

VATAL BOMBARDS GOVERNMENT;

President of the Vatal Party and MLA, Mr.Vatal Nagaraj today lambasted the government and urged that it should immediately implement Sarojini Mahishi report pending since 25 years and also allot rupees 500 crore for the development of “Gadinad”. He stated that he had placed the above proposal before the previous government, four years back.

Addressing scribes here today he said that he would raise the issue of Kodagu package, which was declared cancelled by the present government in the next session. Mr.Vatal also said that the state sessions should be held for hundred days, in the lines of Parliament.

Taking objection to Mr.S.M.Krishna becoming the governor of Maharashtra, Mr.Vatal questioned what statnce Mr.Krishna will take now about the Mahajan report. He recalled that Mr.Krishna had promised to implement the report while he was a Chief Minister here.
