ATTENDING COURT THROUGH CRIME IS A CURSEWhenever the court case between the two parties ends in compromise, the repayment of court fee to the parties is under consideration with suitable law amendment shortly- disclosed the Karnataka High court Judge Mr. Huluvadi G.Ramesh.He was speaking after he inaugurated the legal Seminar conducted by the Kodagu legal service authority, Children and women welfare department and the district Bar Association, Madikeri jojntly. The delay in Justice is due to the dense population and also just following the Rules framed by the British without any further changes –analyzed Mr. Huluvadi. The crimes occur sometimes accidentally and sometimes in a fraction of a bad moment and the accused persons then suffer a lot he opined. A single incident sometimes affect a person for lifetime who will then lead a regretful life. It is best to avoid wandering to court which is a curse to the people. More than 50% of the crimes are connected to the atrocity on women – he explained. The girls who were grown with love and affection of the parents are ill-treated after their marriage which is a painful development he said. The incharge Deputy Commissioner Mr. P.Subramanyam,The District and Sessions judge Mr. Lenkannanavar and Smt. Lenkannanavar,The Bar Association President Mr. B.J.Chinnappa,the Civil Judge (Senior Division) Mr,. Shrikanth vatavati and others were present. CENTRALO AID FOR FOREST COLLEGEThe Central Govt. has released Rs. 70- lakh for providing infrastructural facilities in the Forest College Ponnampet, Kodagu. This was disclosed by Smt. K.P.Chandrakala, the director of Hebbal Agricultural centre, Bangalore and also the Chairman of the State Water Supply and Urban Development Board. The sanctioned amount will be mainly utilized for the establishment of the Hostel facility for the girls and other infrastructural facilities. The state Govt. Has also sanctioned 150 acres of land at Begoor village near Ponnampet for conducting research on environment and forest., Mr. M.P.Prakash, the state revenue minister has agreed to this- disclosed Smt. Chandrakala. Rs. 10 CRORES FOR ROAD DEVELOPMENMTThe Karnataka Road development Corporation has granted Rs. 10.10 crores for the overall development of Roads in Madikeri Thaluk. This was disclosed by Mr. K.G.Bopaiah, in a press conference here. Rs. 5.37 crores for the improvement to Boikeri Sampaje Road in Mysore-Bantwal high way ,Rs. 3.44 crores for the improvement to Hunsur =Thalacauvery road about 56.5 K.M. distance, Rs. 1.2 crores for the development of Madikeri-Kutta Road having 7.5.K.M.Length,Rs. 8-0 lakhs for Bandikadu Road, Rs. 50 lakhs for the construction of bridge at Aiyangeri, and Rs. 5.8 crores for Nellihudikeri-Siddapur road- Mr. Bopaiah explained. All these works are under progress he explained.The renovation of Palur, Bhagandeshwara and Agastyeshewara temples are under progress and expected to be complete before the next May. Separate scheme with an estimation of Rs. 60 lakhs and Rs. 3.65 lakhs have been proposed and sanctioning expected- said Mr. Boapaih. |
