CLEAN REVOLUTION BEGINS;

Deputy Commissioner Subodh Yadav yesterday gave a start to the forty day Clean Revolution that will go on in the district.

The Clean revolution would be spread to eighty villages in the district through street plays, folk songs and dance with the participation of Information and publicity department. Subodh Yadav flagged off the information vehicle at Fort premises that began its destination.

Tahasildar Tulsi, Deputy secretary of Zilla Panchayath, Ekantappa, information officer Vinay Chandra and others were present during the flagging off ceremony.

GROWERS GET A BREATHER;

The Coffee Board in a communiqué has informed that the central government has approved the extension of deadline from 30th June 2005 to 31st May 2006 for depositing 1/3 0f the interest on special coffee term loan for the three year moratorium period , 2002 – 05.

The grower loanees who could not utilize the interest concession benefits during 2005 by paying their share of interest are now eligible to pay before may 31st, the communiqué said. The concession is a part of Coffee Relief Package declared by the central government.
