PROTECT COWS-CHARIOT MOVEMENT

Madikeri Jan.7 Protect the cows .rejuvenate the cow race in the country. India is already suffering in the clutches of multinationals. We should give priority for natural cultivation-is the call given by various thinkers in a programme conducted here. The cow protection chariot organized by Shri Ramachandrapura Shri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Hosanagar. has entered Madikeri through Kushalnagar.

The like minded people of Kodagu had organized warm welcome to the awareness movement in kushalnagar and Madikeri. A public function was held at Cauvery kalakshethra. The main speaker Mahesh Murthy of Thuraganur explained that Swamiji’ s “Kamadugha” project yielded good response wherever they went. We should stop following foreign way of cultivation. Organic manuring is the best way for getting the best yield. The chemical manure is poisonous to plants-ultimately the farmers consume the poisonous products -analyzed Mahesh Murthy.

The plants will get maximum possible nourishing food through cow dung manure, urine. The spoon of cow dung contains 5 crore minute live particles =- Mahesh Murthy explained. If the farmers continuously use the natural manure for three years, further manuring is not required in future course he told.

PEJAVARA SEER CALLED FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Madikeri Jan.7 Udupi Shri Vishweshwara Thirtha Swamiji of Pejavara mutt called for religious and moral education for the children. He was speaking as a chief guest in the 40th year anniversary function of Shri Sai Shanakr Education trust , Ponnampet Prashanth Ashram.The country has lost hope in our rulers. The youngsters and youth should come up with determination of faith in God and as well as patriotism- Swamiji opined. Shri Bhmesheara Joshi the trustee of Horanadu Shri Kshethra told the civilians should lead the moral life. Shri Shanthamallikarjuna Swamiji of Arameri kalanchari Mutt called for the frankness of mind-which keeps the peaceful atmosphere in the environment.

Dati Poovaiah, the Kodava Sahithya Academy president, Ex. Minister Suma Vasanth were present. The Sai Shankar Trust president Zaru Ganapathi presided over the function.

DEAD BODIES IDENTIFIED

Madikeri Jan.7. The two dead bodies found a few days back at the Cauvery river at Siddapur were identified. Biddiyanda Somanna’s wife Llalitha(53), a Bangalore resident and Chenganda Somaiah’s wife Chondavva (65) are the deceased. Both have been murdered. Biddiyanda Somanna husband of the deceased Lalitha is a driver in the Hebbal agricultural University, Bangalore. The residence is at RT Nagar.The couple have two daughters who are married. Another deceased Chondavva was residing at Aiyangeri, Kodagu.The primary investigation reveal the involvement of two youths and a woman who wore Burkha. The police investigation team went to Manjeshwara for further investigation.
