DALAI LAMA AT BYLAKUPPE;

The Tibetan Spiritual leader dalai lama today visited Byalakuppe rehabilitation center.

Dalai lama arrived from Gurupur center at Hunsur by ten in the morning and delivered spiritual discourse. He will stay in Bylakuppe till thirteenth and return to Dharmashala at Himachal Pradesh on thirteenth.

Around 500 policemen from Chamrajnagar, Mysore and Kodagu districts are stationed at Bylakuppe for security.

FOOD INSPECTOR SUSPENDED;

A food inspector is suspended for deriliction of duty at madikeri.

The Deputy Commissioner Subodh yadav has issued suspension order as food inspector Chowdaih was found ignoring his duty. The order said that dereliction of duty is proved in the distribution of of ration cards to the needy.

POLIO PLUS ; 85% SUCCESS

The polio plus in Kodagu has achieved 85% success, according to officials.

The sources said that 85% of kids in Kodagu were administered with drops yesterday. The Chief executive officer Sundar naik administered polio drops to the child of The Deputy commissioner Subodh yadav to mark the inauguration of the immunization.

Around 50, 365 children were administered polio drops in the district against the target of 59, 430.
