PLANTERS MEET CHIEF MINISTER;

A delegation of pepper planters met Chief minister Kumar swamy and submitted a memorandum recently.

President of Kodlipet Hobli Pepper planters met the chief minister and agriculture minister Shashikant Appa Naik and explained their plight. They stated that the pepper cultivation is spoiled during harsh monsoon and they have incurred heavy loss. They requested the government to release funds for the pepper package as was announced by the district horticulture Assistant director Medappa and the Deputy commissioner Subodh Yadav.

The delegation demanded that a compensation of rupees fifty thousand per acre should be released as they have incurred loss due to excess of rainfall, waiver of loan and interest on it.

CULPRITS CAUGHT;

The superintendent of police Dr.Ramachandra Rao has said that

Police have busted rheft cases occurred at Virajpet recently.

He said that four culprits hailing from Bangalore and Andhra Pradesh were traced and arrested.

The accused had broke open a mobile shop and a medical store at Virajpet recently. Cash and mobile phones were stolen. SP said that the accused were traced easily ast they were usingthe mobile phones stolen by them. They were followed to Hassan and other places by tracing them through mobile towers.
