FAMILY HOCKEY TO BEGIN NEXT MONTH;

The eleventh family hockey would begin from April sixteenth and Manditira family is all set to throw a grand show. Hockey association and association of hockey Umpires is also joining hands.

The Manditira Cup Hockey will be held at two grounds at Kakotu Parambu, twenty kilometers from here. The hockey heat is already up. The ground work and gallery for fifteen thousand audiences is getting set.

Spokesman for the hockey, Mandetira Suresh has said that already 180 families have enrolled their names and Ties are getting ready. The winning team will receive a cash prize of rupees fifty thousand, while the runner will receive thirty five thousand. Loser in the semi finals will also be awarded rupees ten thousand.

Suresh stated that entry of teams are decreasing each year as most of the youngsters have migrated to Bangalore and other cities for job in IT sectors.

The tournament will go on for twelve days.

DEVAIAH AS BJP YUVA MORCHA SECRETARY;

Robin Devaiah has been appointed as the state general secretary according to a communiqué.

A letter from state Yuva Morcha president Girish Mattennavar confirmed the appointment.

Robin Devaiah had been serving the state committee under different designations.
