The committee collects Rs. 2 to Rs. 5 per head as an entry fee to Raja seat. The collection amount will be more than enough to maintain and improve raja seat. Many development schemes through horticultural department also apply here. But the committee and concerned departments have failed in properly maintaining the beautiful garden. The plants are becoming dry. No proper watering is done. The greenery is lost. The toy train run by the City municipal Council, Madikeri has stopped it’s service since 25 days. The tracks surrounded in the garden are damaged. The CMC has ignored repairing it. The children with curiosity are waiting for the jolly journey. The children park inside Rajaseat is also neglected.
