FOREST FIRE;Madikeri March 10, 2008 Photo: The forest fire raging in Kodagu is falling under control. “A CATLE A DAY!”While the forest department has said that it will capture the tiger in South Kodagu, the tiger is still continuing its attack. It attacked two buffalos at the cow shed of Bojjangada Manju of Srimangala on the seventh night. Again on the night of eighth, a hybrid cow belonging to Bollera Ramaiah was killed at the shed at Srimangala only. The residents of south Kodagu are dismayed by the regular attack and they are not in a position to stage a protest again as the department has been saying that it is making efforts to capture the tiger. So far, dozens of cattle are killed by the tiger from December.
