HEALTH ASSISTANTS PROTEST

Madikeri March 27 The Health assistants working in Govt. hospitals and health centres are not getting the salary properly. The senior and junior health assistants association has organized a protest in Madikeri town, The agitators went in a procession from Gandhi maidan to Disrtrict health office and submitted a memorandum to the district health officer.The memorandum include 15 other demands in addition to the request for proper distribution of monthly salary.

CHALLENGE TO PROVE

Madikeri March 27 BJP yuva morcha and Kaveri sene organisations in separate press conferences have challenged the Statement by A.K.Subbiah, ex. M.L.C. recently in a function at Madikeri Subbaiah had called the cauvery Thirthodbhava and makara Jyothi as false.

Kaveri sene Virjpet thaluk convenor Maletira Shrinivas has challenged A.K.Subbiah to prove his statement before October 17th, the Cauvery Sankraman day.He also told that Subbaiah should prove that markara Jyothi occurrence in Shabarimalai is false. If he fail in proving this, he has to face continuos protest against this-Shrinivas warned. The kaveri sene district president Ravi Changappa and others were present in the conference.\

In another press meet, the district Yuva Morcha president Rajiv Bopaiah has condemned the statement by A.K.Subbaiah.cauvery is the family diety for Kodagu people.The statement has disturbed the sentiment feeling in the minds of devotees. Subbaiah has no right to live in Kodagu Rajiv Bopaiah opined..Yuva Morcha general secretary Balachandra kalagi and others were present.

SHANTHU APPAIAH:JDS PRESIDENT

Madikeri March 28 The state JDS high command has appointed Shanthu Appaiah of pollibetta as the Kodagu district wing president of the party. The immediate past president V.P.Aiayppa has been elected for the state committee. D.S.Madappa, ex. M.L.A has also been selected for stare committee.Shanthu Appaiah is the closest associate of M.C.Nanaiah, the ex. Minister. M.C.Nanaiah and his supporters have recently joined JDS. They were identified themselves as the separate Kodagu janatha dal. Shanthu Appaiah was the president of that Kodagu janatha Dal. Within few days after joining the State JDS,Shanthu Appaiah got this opportunity.

Tatu Monnappa has been appointed as the District Youth wing president. of the JDS.

TRIBES PROTEST AGAINST IGNORING THEM

Madikeri March 28 What was the result of the national youth congress leader Rahul gandhi’s visit to Rajiv Gandhi national park at Nagarhole? Just he moved in security vehicle for Safari in the forest.. Just he discussed with the environmentalists a few minutes;but not reacted to their appeal for conservation of tigers, rehabilitation of nagarhole tribes.
