SUSPECIOUS DEATH OF A SERVANT

A helper in the house of a councilor here was found in a dead position today under suspicious circumstance.

City Municipal Councilor Unnikrishna lodged a complaint with the police stating that his servant Prasanna, 38 was found in a dead position in a pool of blood in the morning.

Police who rushed to the spot found that Prasanna’s neck had two deep cut injuries and a bill hook was also found close by. He had died in the sleeping position in a pool of blood. Unnikrishna told police that his helper Aruna saw the dead body in the morning. Victim was living with his wife and children in the out house. Aruna heard wife Deena calling for help in the morning and noticed that she was locked with one child inside the toilet. Deena told him that she had a fight with her husband night and he locked them both inside the bathroom and they do not know what happened to him later.

It is hard to believe the death as a suicide as the victim has two deep cuts round the neck.

Police dogs were pressed to service. Superintendent of police, Manjunath Annigeri, DySP J.D.Prakash visited the spot.

Town Sub Inspector Durga said that the investigation is on and the case could be ascertained only after a day or so. The wife and another servant are being interrogated.

THREE TIBETAN YOUTHS DROWNED IN DUBARRE

Madikeri feb.8; Three Tibetan youths drowned in Dubarre cauvery river when they were enjoying the swimming movement. In a deep stream they were dragged by water, Another youth was saved by a tribe Sannakoosu. He tried to save another but he himself was hit by a stone and had to leave his hand while trying to save another.

7 youths went for a picnic and met with the incident.During recent months,such deaths of Tibetan youths are common and unreported., The deceased are identified as Keshi kesham,Thonson and Thenisil of Koppa Tibetan camp
