MCN URGES RESIGNATION OF YEDIYURAPPAMadikeri February 14, 2010 MLC M.C.Nanaiah has urged the resignation of Chief Mnister Yediyurappa for his failure in administration. Addressing a press conference here yesterday, Nanaiah said that the administration in the state has totally collapsed and Yediyurappa should resign, bearing responsibility. Nanaiah appealed to the governor to dissolve the government by using his discrimination. He said that the government is encouraging riot and disturbances like valentine issue in the state by supporting Hindu organizations. Reacting to the NICE conflict, he termed it as the countries biggest controversy and alleged that the government is trying to build monument on the corpse of farmers by grabbing their land. JDs president Shanthu Appaiah and former minister B.A.Jivijaya were present. ELEPHANT SHOT DEADAn elephant was found dead with gun shot injuries in Thithimati forest range. According to forest sources, the elephant was shot around three days back by unknown miscreants. Aged about fifteen years, the elephant carcass was found inside the forest yesterday. A case has been registered and investigation is on. |
