DIESEL STEALERS ARRESTED:ONE ABSCONDING

Madikeri jan.14: Five men gang who were stealing the diesel and selling for low rate have been arrested by Mangalore DCIB at Mangalore and another accused person from Madikeri is absconding. The DCIB team arrived Madikeri and locked out a petrol bunk at Mangalore road for receiving the stolen petrol

The3 gang of five were deviating the diesel in the Indian oil corporation tanker using their own pipe line for one and a half k.m. length near sampaje when the diesel is being transported from Mangalore to Hassan.The gang were getting the help of a watchman on the way. Each one watchman will be watching in every 5 k.m.distance.The gang were filling the diesel to their own tanker and were selling to other petrol bunks including a petrol bun situated in Madikeri. The petrol bunk is run by Thimmaih alias Shambhu who is absconding when the Mangalore disrtrict crime branch police raided here yesterday night. The DCIB policed have locked the petrol bunk and searching for another accused from Madikeri.

SHOUTOUT AFTER DEATH CEREMONY.

Madikeri Jan.14:Relations who attended a death ceremony at Mutlu kumbaragadige village near herfe turned to shutout centre after vocabular clash between four persons. Verbal abuses between Pudiyathanda palangappa,Kannikanda Subbaiah’s sons Doremani,Bhimani and Rajamani ended in a gun shot. After, the incident of abusing between these persons one of them i.e Palangappa was returning to his residence. He was followed by the other abusers Doremani, Bhimani and Rajamani .The trios have mercilessly shot at himthrough a gun several times which had damaged his hand and facial parts.He had been shifted to Mysore in critical condition.C.S.Harish Changuvammaih who is unconcerned with their internal differences was also shot when he was moving with Palangappa Harish also has been shifted to Mysore hospital.The incident happened during late evening yesterday.Madikeri rural police are searching for the accused..

STUDENT COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER PRINCIPAL’S HARSH WORDS

Madikeri Jan.14:A resident of Somwarpet,Kodagu who was studying at BGS college Hassan had commited suicide after he was hurt by the harsh wordS of the principal. About 16 students of the college who arrived for his cremation at Somwarpet had given written complaint to kodagu Zilla panchayath president Vijaya when he had attended the cremations of the Somwarpet resident, Hassan student Mahith(18)He was studying in IInd year PUC. He had hanged himself in his room in Hassan. A death note has been taken by hassan police and Kodagu Z.P president has demanded to hand over the death note to the parents of the deceased and he had urged the concerned to conduct proper investigation.
