THIS LADY CARRIED EXTRA 11.5 KILO!

The doctors removed a 11.5 KG extra growth from a lady aged forty at Virajpet yesterday.

According to Dr.Muralidhar from Government hospital Virajpet, a resident of mayamudi village, house wife Usha was complaining of stomach ache since ten months. He suspected an extra growth and conducted an operation. An additional growth of 11.5 Kilo was successfully removed at the operation table.

The lady is recovering, according to Muralidhar.


PRIVATE BUSSES TO GO OFF ROAD

The private busses have decided to stop service on the 26th of this month in protest.

President of the private bus owners association, Hosur Ramesh Joyappa has said that all the private busses in the district will go off the road on 26th to protest against the un permitted Government busses plying in Kodagu and also against the additional busses being pushed into routes to disturb private busses.

HOME GUARDS, FIRE BRIGADE ORGANISE A SHOW

An action filled demonstration on the occasion of the national Calamity tackling show by the Home Guards and Fire brigade yesterday created a near to real show here.

Hundreds of students, police , NCC, Scouts and Guides units witnessed the joint operations of riot, fire, emergency calls that the society often undergoes and showed the best ways to tackle them.

Home Guards commandant Chingappa, DySP J.D.Prakash, Fire brigade officers were present.
