HYENA ATTACKS GOATS

In a late night attack, Hyena has attacked two goats and killed them at Kodagarahalli.

Resident of Kodagarahalli in a complaint to police yesterday has said that Cheeta has attacked his live stock. One goat was killed at his backyard in the tied position only and another was carried to a distance and killed.

The veterinary doctors visited the place in the evening and verified the pug marks. They said that the pug mark indicates that it belongs to Hyena.

People are worried that Hyena is an added trouble maker in the area along with Cheeta and elephants.


SUBBAIAH BOMBARDS GOWDA;

Former MLC A.K.Subbaiah has lambasted JDs supreme H.D.Devegowda and said that he should resign from politics and that would be the greatest service he can do to the nation.

Addressing a press conference here yesterday, A.K.Subbaiah condemned the cheap remarks he has made against the chief minister and said that a human being can not survive in JDs. He called P.G.R.Sindhya as a Chandala shishya of Chora guru and said that JDs cannot give governance at all. Gowda has lost hope in the strength of the party and is surrendering to God, Subbaiah cajoled.

Subbaiah urged the authorities to complete the work of Makutta road which is closed now before March. He said that the BJP leaders are delaying the work for their own reasons, as per the advice of RSS.

THEFT DURING DAY TIME;

In an unusual incident, miscreants entered the shop during daytime at Ponnampet and decamped with materials worth rupees one lakh. Delay by police to arrive at the spot invited protest from the public.

The shop owner had locked the doors to go to Mosque for prayer in the afternoon and returned immediately after the prayer to find that cell phone, sim cards and I Pods were all stolen. The miscreants have entered the shop by removing the tiles.

President of the Ponnampet Gram Panchayath, Daya Chengappa called the police as the incident took place in the heart of the town. There was a considerable delay by police to arrive at the spot and the residents lost temper. They held a protest in front of the police station with Daya Chengappa and vice president Aziz in the lead. They have threatened to hold Ponnampet Bandh as numbers of thefts are on the increase.
