KODAGU UTSAV TO BE HELD

The district Hotel and Restaurant owners association has said that they will hold Kodagu Utsav after April.

Addressing a press conference, the association advisor M.C.Vasudev said that Kodagu has become an important destination for tourists and the association is planning the Utsav with the help of the government to introduce art and culture of Kodagu to the tourists. The organizers said that Kodagu Utsav will have spread of Kodagu delicacies.

The association appealed to the district administration, police and RTO to treat tourists as friends as their number is increasing day by day. An estimated twenty five thousand tourists visit Kodagu every weekend.

Vasudev disclosed that the association is reformed and Ganesh Aiyanna of capital village has become the president.J.V.Koti, Nagendra Prasad and Manjunath as vice vice presidents and Jahir Ahmed as general secretary were elected.
