LBOURERS GET MORE WAGES IN KODAGU

-LABOUR AND SERICULTURE MINISTER B.N.BACHEGOWDA

Madikeri Jan. 26: The plantation labourers are getting more wages in Kodagu than fixed by the state Govt. The labour and sericulture minister B.N.Bachegowda expressed his happiness about this development in Kodagu.But, problem is created by some mediators who interfere between outside labourers and the local planters and this will be sorted out soon he assured. He was speaking after hoisting the republic day flag in the mann’s compound General Thimmaiah stadium here.

Minister ruled out the mid term polls in Karnataka. Yediyurappa, Sadanandagowda and Ishwarappa- all have contributed to the development of the state and also have developed the party. We believe in group leadership- he opined.In the employment guarantee scheme Karnataka stands first and has utilized Rs. 1463 crores out of the scheduled amount of Rs. 2,000 crores he explained.
